Fortnite is Alright

One of the newest games out there is Fortnite by Epic Games. Currently, the game is split into two main parts: the co-op mode and the battle royale mode. The game runs on PS4, Xbox One, Windows, and Mac. It costs $39.99 for the co-op mode, and the battle royale mode is currently free.

The first thing you notice when you open Fortnite is the graphics. The game has great graphics and a very arcade style. It focuses less on being realistic and is more like a cartoon. This style makes the game feel much more relaxed.

In the co-op multiplayer survival mode, you have to complete quests with your friends while fighting off zombies. The zombies were created by a storm, and the only way for you to save the world is by somehow eliminating it. Overall, the co-op mode has a good concept but it seems like there’s more that they could do with it. I give it a 6/10.

The battle royale mode is exactly what it sounds like. It is similar to other games, such as PUBG and H1Z1. It drops you over an island with 100 other players, then you must find weapons, and be the last person standing. Fortnite lacks some features that would really make the game better, such as vehicles to get around the map faster and a way to sort through the items that you find. However, the game makes up for it because it gives you the ability to build objects such as walls and stairs, and you can destroy almost the entire map to get resources to build those. Overall, the battle royale mode is fun but could be better if a few changes were made to it. I give it an 8/10

All in all, Fortnite is a pretty good game with just a couple of things that could be changed. Since the game is still in early alpha there is a good chance that these changes might be made.
