December Ice Cream Review

December Ice Cream Review

By: Jack M

Ice cream is a delicious treat that people usually enjoy on a hot summer day, but why not in the winter?  In this review, I’m gonna be looking at 3 random ice cream shops in Jenks, examining their winter ice cream specials, and discussing their flavor, texture, and overall quality. So grab a spoon and let's dive into this tasty review!

Braum’s Pumpkin and Peppermint Shakes

My journey first starts at Braums, where I order the ‘pumpkin’ and ‘peppermint’ shakes. I was blown right away by their deliciousness. The pumpkin shake was rich and creamy, with the right amount of spice from pumpkin pie seasoning. It was like drinking a slice of pumpkin pie in shake form! The peppermint was equally tasty, with a mint flavor that wasn’t too overwhelming. Both shakes were perfectly sweetened. ⭐⭐⭐/ 5 stars for both.

Andy’s Apple Pie Concrete

Next, I headed to Andy’s, where I ordered the Apple Pie Concrete and Sundae. The ice cream part of the concrete can come on top of the apple pie, or, you can ask for it to be separated. The warm pie and the cold ice cream make a great combo to my whole mood. The caramel in the ice cream was the cherry on top that just really pulled everything together. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/ 5 stars! Very tasty. Definitely my favorite treat so far.

Marble Slab Eggnog Ice Cream

Finally, I headed to Marble Slab. Here, I ordered Eggnog ice cream. Definitely one of the more unique flavors I’ve ever had. The ice cream had a smooth texture that was very cool and refreshing. The Eggnog had a perfect rich flavor overall, very delicious and I could definitely see myself ordering this again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐/ 5 stars.

Each flavor has its own unique combos and ingredients. By comparing different options, you can find the perfect seasonal ice cream for your taste this winter. Whatever flavor you choose to enjoy, make sure you choose to enjoy it with family and friends.
