Sherlock: A 14 Year Retrospective
This past October was the 14th anniversary of the release of the BBC’s Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson respectively. The show would run for 7 years spanning 4 seasons. The final episode, cleverly titled “The Final Problem”, would air in January of 2017 capping off a television show that would inspire many people to venture into the Sherlock stories and the broader mystery genre.
The Double Life of Clay Martin
A typical high school Athletic Director is in charge of all sports at their high school, however ours here at Jenks has a widely known secret, he also is an NFL Ref. His name is Clay Martin, he takes on the responsibility of managing both one of the state's best districts for athletics and managing NFL games each week.
Master of Teaching
Curt Sharp is a teacher here at Jenks High School where he teaches an assortment of classes from Leadership, Government and U.S. History. However he has a rather unique background, he has traveled to Eastern Europe and Guinea to even South America. He even spent 6 years in the Philippines, where he taught multiple different subjects to a variety of cultures.

While summer is coming to an end and pools are turning cold, the pool at the Jenks Trojan Aquatic Center is starting to heat up with many swimmers training for this upcoming season. This is where Senior Alexis Selden is staying busy motivating her teammates to return to gold.
