King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard has had a prolific career, releasing 25 albums spanning multiple genres in just 13 years. From starting off as a garage rock band to now being one of Australia’s most well known bands with an overarching story across their albums known as the Gizzverse, it’s safe to say that they’re truly a once in a lifetime band.

While walking down Jenks Main Street, you can find the River City Trading Post. The trading post looks simple from the outside, but when you step through the door you are transported into a maze full of everything you could possibly imagine. The first thing you see is a hallway of brightly colored ornaments hanging from the ceiling. I decided to go back in time for a bit and watch what people (or the internet) calls a classic movie. Though I am a movie fanatic and have been in screenwriting classes, I realized that there are only a handful of classics that I have actually watched.

Well, welcome to the world of livestock showing. From a 1,000 pound cow to a 100 pound miniature lamb, the members of the Jenks livestock show team become knowledgeable in caring for various species of animals during their show season.

Resting and healing is an essential part of the recovery process upon getting injured or hurt during a game. Jenks football players don’t always get the luxury of doing so. Most times, a week is all that is provided for their bodies to reset to 100%. Difficult or not, they continue this routine every week for five months straight.

The Jenks Trojan football program has won 18 state championships, 37 district titles, and has made an outstanding 29 state championship appearances.
